Norma Jean announces two new tours

Plus, Matt Greiner of August Burns Red gets custom sticks from Vic Firth, For Today to shoot new video, Facedown Spring Tour lineup, dates announced and more.

After recently announcing a spring tour with Spoken, Norma Jean will also be heading across the pond for the Wrongdoers European Tour. The tour kicks off April 4th in the Netherlands and wraps up May 2nd in Belgium.

Vic Firth has engineered some signature drumsticks for August Burns Red drummer Matt Greiner. Apparently they are good for intricate hi-hat & ride patterns while being bold enough to ride on the crash, china or heavy bells. Or something like that…

For Today will be in L.A. tomorrow to shoot a music video for their song “Break The Cycle” and they want you to be in it. Check the details on their Facebook page.

The lineup for the Facedown Records 2014 Spring Tour has been announced, with Battery’s War of Ages as the headliner. The tour starts on February 28th and wraps up with Facedown Fest on March 28th.

Saving Grace released their new album The Urgency this week, and it’s been climbing up the iTunes Metal charts.

Sleeping Giant are currently in the studio working on their new album, and they’re halfway done with guitars and vocals.

Haste the Day has been broken up for a while now…or are they? Earlier this week they posted a photo with a set list of some of their biggest songs. We’ll keep you updated.
